Branding, Packaging

Late Nite Rush Coffee Co.

Project: Create a brand and coffee bag packaging for a coffee company.

For this project I wanted to create a coffee company that appealed to people like me. A lot of tech professionals would like a coffee that they could drink at 9 PM so they could finish off that last bit of work and then crash into a blissful sleep. Late Nite Rush was born, and I chose to tailor the design to an audience of artists and tech personnel by creating a dark, black and white minimalist design with a tech/vintage inspired logo and logotype.

Branding, Print

WildThings Furnishing

Project: Create a logo, stationery, and magazine spread using an animal for Wildthings, a natural home furnishing company based out of Denver, Colorado.

I chose a ram to symbolize this company because of its sturdy and reliable nature and also because it's found in Colorado. The form is somewhat abstract to fit the company's natural and abstract product. The shape I used for it's body is reminiscent of a couch's outline and the color are colors found in nature.

Branding, Packaging

The Hive Brewery

Project: Create a logo, bottle packing, and a six pack package for a beer company that used a CT landmark in the design.

The challenge came from the subject of company, I used local landmarks as an element in the design. I chose to base my designs on a new bridge that was recently built in New Britain, Connecticut called the Beehive Bridge. I then created a "hop-bee" which is a combination of a barley hop and a bee to pair with my bee themed beers.

Web Design

Web

Get Ready Athletic Apparel

Project: Create a logo and website for an athletic apparel company named Get Ready.

Get Ready is an athletic apparel distributor based out of London, England. They focus on quality gear for an affordable price that is made for all types of athletes. I wanted to create a modern apparel website that felt a little edgy while still being welcoming. The green I chose is a reference to the earth-friendly materials the clothing is made of.

Web, Social Media

Pequot Museum

Project: Create a website and social media advertisements for a local museum dedicated to the Mashantucket Pequot Native Americans.

I chose a color scheme that went with the blue that they were currently using, as it had significant meaning to the tribe, and gave them a modern yet natural typeface.

Web

Trinity on Main

Project: Create a website for a newly renovated venue in New Britain, CT.

The venue is a renovated church that hosts around 200 people at a time. To tie in the idea of the church, I tried to create a stained glass effect with pictures of the different sections to refer to the windows at the church. I also wanted to create a dark and grungy vibe so I made the website with a dark theme, using blacks, grays, and red.

Print

Juul Posters

Project: I was challenged with thinking of a homonym (Jewel/Juul) and then find 3 images online to make 3 different compositions with. Each composition had a different focus; text, image, and 50/50.

I combined images of a Juul, dark quartz, and a diamond for my content. Then I made a series of posters that looked like old wedding ring ads.

Inner Conflict

Project: I had to explore ways graphic designers projected their message. For this project, we were exploring multiples.

I chose to make my poster about mental health and the love/hate relationships that everyone faces. I am proud of this project because I was able to donate it to the Yale Program for Recovery and Community Health who published it in their annual journal of art focused on mental health.

Casino Trip

Project: I was requested to create a poster and Instagram assets for an event where students could take a bus to Foxwoods Casino in a candy theme.

I created a digital illustration of the casino and minimal illustrations of activities that students could choose from. I then used these illustrations to create a carousel Instagram post.
